Question: Using Robotics to Spark Engagement in Content Area Classrooms
I recently had the opportunity to co-teach a middle school math lesson with my colleague Faith Forrest. We were looking for ways to spark engagement and motivation around solving one-step equations, so we decided to integrate the use of Ozobots into our lesson. Students had to solve one-step equations embedded in a maze and then code their Ozobot to navigate from equations to their solutions in order to escape the maze. You can read more about our lesson in this Edutopia article.
I'd love to hear more about how others are using robotics across the curriculum to spark engagement around core content area concepts. Share your own ideas below!
