Lesson Reflections

I used to think that I was doing my best to make learning accessible to all of my learners. However, ipads and the bountiful accessibility features have dramatically improved student accessibility and differentiation to learning for higher mastery. I am an American Government teacher at John Marshall IT HS and we have become a one to one ipad device school. I am eager to learn more about how to incorporate the incredible features for apple education and ipad accessibility into my practice. During my lesson, I was to surprised how many students wanted to use google slides instead of the apple apps because of being worried to come out of their comfort zones. We are an IT school so one would imagine that our scholars would be more apt to lean into new tech, apps, and opportunities, Next time I will limit the options for product creation to apple based apps only. #iPAD #Government #ProfesionalLearning
