Valentines Day Keynote Animation

As an early years teacher, I always loved creating the classic Valentine's Day (or Mother's Day) artwork where we would cut out a picture of our students blowing a kiss - with gorgeous hearts glued so they appear to flow from students' hands. This year though - I thought it would be fun to create an animated version of the same thing 🫶🏻 The results were pretty cute 🙌🏻

Would you like to learn how to create this project yourself?

The link below takes you to a comprehensive walk-through video for this project. You can download a copy of the background and a version of the keynote file with animated hearts already included - ready for you to add students, writing and voice. You can also download a PDF version of the background if you would like to use this in other art projects.

Excellent video tutorial. My only question is how did you create the avatar of you?

Hi Dave, I actually created this in messages! I created my memoji, then recorded a video clip within messages and sent it to myself :) I did a really rough screen recording of how I did this a few years back to share with some teachers - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nK4UQhIa8zA :)

So cute!!!!! I can't wait to do this with my 5th graders. I think I will have them help their pre-k learning buddies do it too!
