Siri is an intelligent personal assistant that helps you complete everyday tasks. Preview your daily calendar, set grading reminders, open the latest version of a document, and much more.

Try it.

Ask Siri to open an app or document on your Mac. Click the Siri icon in the menu bar or Dock, and say something like “Open Keynote.”

Apply it.

  • Use Siri to find files created at a certain time. Say “Find files I created last August.”

  • Let Siri find pictures from your photo library. Say “Show photos I took last week.”

Change the way Siri speaks. Go to System Preferences to change the language and select from a variety of Siri voices.
