Change how a table looks. Click anywhere in the table to select it, then click Format to open the Format sidebar. Click the Table tab, then choose a table style or edit the settings to create your own.

  • Track your club or team’s budget. Create columns for date, currency, and text notes to help you track income and spending over the course of the year.

  • Organize notes for a book your class is reading. Create a table to log the chapter and page number for each note, and you can sort them by either.

You can change the appearance of a cell or its text when the value meets a certain criteria. In a class grade tracker, you can highlight the names of students whose average grades fall below a certain score.
