Add and Format Shapes

You’ll first learn how to add a shape to a Keynote slide, then explore ways you can format or change the shape’s features.

Step 1

Tap Shapes .

Step 2

Tap the polygon to add it to the slide.

Step 3

You can resize any shape by dragging one of the blue dots around it.

Step 4

Drag the shape to move it where you want.

Step 5

Now you’ll change the color of your shape. With your shape selected, tap Format .

Step 6

Tap Style.

Step 7

Tap a preset color, or tap Fill for more options.

Step 8

Tap to select a preset.

Step 9

Drag the green dot to adjust the shape’s features, such as adding sides to a polygon.
