Podcasting in Elementary

We currently have a group of elementary students that would like to start a Podcast club and are currently in the process of learning more about Podcasting in general before they jump in. They have been searching through many resources and are at the stage where they want to see other schools/personal setups. This includes the area for recording, what devices are used, what mics and any tips or tricks for having a great space for recording podcasts. They will use this information to fundraise and create a space that best fits their developing vision.

Ask: Please share a video or picture of your Podcasting setup or space. Share any tips, tricks, resources or recommendations you may have.

What we currently have: We are 1-1 with iPads, have access to MacBooks and iMacs. We currently have a few plug in microphones along with a few handmade sound boxes (Pictured)

Jamie Clark - @xpateducator on Twitter has two versions of his Create a Podcast workbook! I used it last year with students during my lunchtime Podcast club. My students created everything beginning to end - podcast name, cover art, description, format of how they would run it, etc.

Love that you are exploring Podcasting. At the moment, we are exploring ways to better sound proof the room.
