Such a good question & I'll be following this thread. Some of the strategies I have used for reluctant participants include:
- Acknowledging the challenges (trauma) they have experienced in the past - but not degrade into a gripe session.
- Helping individuals recognize what they are already doing well - and it doesn't have to be about technology.
- Being transparent about the issues with the tools being presented - and have solutions ready to share.
- Invite participants to share what they have learned & overcome - let these folks shine because they will be able to help others.
