iPad integration into language lessons lower primary students

Question:

Hello there! I am curious if anyone has integrated the use of iPads for language lessons specifically for Mandarin and what type of resources (if any) are available on Apple to learn languages for lower primary students? And specifically Mandarin?

I don't have any experience with Mandarin, however, our English Language Learners are loving using Keynote to create their own visual dictionary. The teacher gives students vocabulary words in English to learn. The students are then creating Keynote slides that show what that word means. They absolutely love creating and getting their classmates to guess their vocabulary word based on their illustrations. It has been a great way to get students talking about their new English words.
