QR codes for videos

Here are a couple of resources I came across here in the Community that might help:

Anna Gombocz has a One Best Thing book in the Apple Book Store called Doing the Magic. On page 8 she explains how to make a sound file a QR code. That should also work for Movies.

Mike Yakubovsky has a post on creating QR codes with the Shortcut app that is also helpful. QR codes easily and securely

Great question. Because QR codes are fundamentally just encoded links that a camera knows how to open you need a few things to generate one for a video:

1. A place to host your video with a public link. (Google Drive, or Youtube are some of the bigger ones that have free options).
2. A QR code that encodes that video link. There's lots of free QR code encoders for links but definitely check their privacy terms before using just using the first result in the search engine.

You could also use a free tool that combines both of these into one service. Something like: https://smmall.cloud/tools/share-video-as-qrcode
