I would think the best Ipad condition wise would be 2019 because of the more recent updates and tools. Students would also like to see a newer Ipad? What is your favorite tool to use on an iPad while teaching?

I would go for as recent as you can budget for especially if coding. I definitely wouldn't go for 2017. You may find the more recent models such as the iPad 9 gen are more budget friendly.

I interested in start this pathway to become un Apple Teacher. But I only have iMac 2017, what's the best iPad [2017, 2018, 2019] for start. I don't wanna to buy the lastest iPad because I'm starting and my budget is limited. Thanks for your help.
