My students have really liked Sphero racing. We create a small race track and the students get time to program their spheres, and then we race them for the best time.
Gets the students excited about the coding process.

This is a great idea!
We have done 'battle' spheros (a little like robot wars?). The students design a chariot style contraption onto their sphero. Then the students drive/code their spheros to see who is the last one standing.

My students like GimKit! I use it to start our review days.

I also use GimKit frequently and the kids love it. We use it for chapter reviews or grammar concepts. They also enjoy Blooket. I teach middle school Language Arts, grade 8.
