How to use Apple Tools to connect students nationwide who are working on similar projects?

What is an effective use of Apple Tools to connect students across the country who are working on similar projects? For example, I will be starting a Weather unit in science and I would like to use Apple Tools and other resources to connect my students with other students across the country to learn more about weather in other areas.

Wonderful idea! Two very helpful tools are Apple’s Numbers and Freeform for connecting students at diverse “weather stations”. Both have the ability to be places to hang media such as pictures and video that can be shared collaboratively. Also Numbers is great for collecting weather data. You might even have the connected classes end up with a green screen weather report they can share. If you put “weather” in the search box (upper right) in this Community you’ll find a several posts on creating class weather report.
