Thank you for taking the time to stop by and explore how the fantastic Clips can be used to create and share learning while building digital fluency! Working with amazing kaiako (teachers) across New Zealand it is an absolute joy and pleasure to see the engagement and excitement that comes from tamariki (children) creating, sharing and celebrating their learning through such a fun and easy-to-use app. This is a definite go-to in my Digital Kete (toolkit)!
When getting started I always like to think about the fabulous process of learning we take so much care and time for as teachers - scaffolding and supporting learning to ensure success for all. A huge part of this, when integrating digital tools, is building digital fluency. This sets everyone up for success and continues to build on new learning and key skills, that allow creativity and confidence to flourish! These easy-to-follow steps and resources will get you and your tamariki creating captivating Clips that showcase learning across the curriculum. This process is tried and true and can be built on to reflect, consolidate and share learning, from number knowledge, to teaching languages, procedural writing, re-telling stories and so much more. When I am thinking about building on digital fluency, teaching new skills, or introducing a new app - I always start with an example - a hook, something to capture attention and excite tamariki, empowering and setting them up for success. Love this 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Clips is certainly my most favourite app to use in the classroom, especially with my early learners. It also quickly becomes a firm favourite with each and every I share the app with. My favourite part is definitely the animated posters and live titles 🫶🏻

Thanks Emma - so many great ideas and tips. I especially love the idea of using stickers to represent numbers and your ePub book is full of inspiration. My favourite thing about Clips is the joy it brings students (and teachers) as they compose and share their amazing creations.
