Vocabulary Hunt with Numbers

Introduce or review vocabulary using Numbers! Add media placeholders for each vocabulary word and have students "hunt" for items that represent the vocabulary word in its context. This can be used at any level for any content.

  • if students can't find an item that represents the word, have students act out a scenario showing the definition and add a video instead OR add shapes to create their own visual representation (depending on the word)
  • have students add audio recordings of them saying each word to practice pronunciation and reinforce word recognition
  • add word cards for students to sort between "hot" and "cold" for self-evaluation
