Working with Images - Adding Borders

Question:

Working with Images - Adding a border

Is there any software the iMac or MBP that will put a border around an image?I need to put borders around images on websites I make.I'd like to put a border on the images before importing to a website I'm making.

Preview does not do it unless I draw a box and position it around the edge of the image. It takes a lot of time. I was hoping Preview might have that feature.

  1. Anything on an iMac or MBP able to do that? I've had webpage-creating-software in the past that will add a border around images.
  2. If not, any recommendations for software I need to get?

You could use format to add a border to an image in Keynote and save the slide as an image.

On iPad you can use format to add a border to an image in Keynote and drag it into photos with split screen with border attached. 😊
