Take a screen shot of the Map, tap the screen shot in the lower left so it opens and then tap the little pencil in the upper right when the screen shot comes up. Is that what they showed you?
What kind of lessons or activities will you do using Apple Maps? I love connecting primary sources to Apple Maps. Here are a couple ideas I’ve posted:

How do I use markup to draw right on the Maps app? I took a class last night and they showed us, but now I don't remember. Thanks.
