I recently used AR MAKR with a group of 3rd graders as they were studying severe weather. First we built images in Keynote using drawings, shapes, etc and then exported the image as a png where the background is transparent. In AR MAKR, we brought in an image and put some animation (if applicable) and had students record a video while they were talking about the severe weather.
