Apple Device Management

Question:

Hi there. We just purchased a Cambrionix Hub to help with iPad enrollment/management. Does anyone have a workflow that they wouldn't mind sharing with us to help us get started? We use JAMF as our MDM. Thanks!

Hello, Emily.

The utilization of hubs like these really depends on your selected deployment model. There are many successful deployments out there who don't have them and others I'm sure who couldn't live without them.

As far as workflows are concerned, these hubs typically work in concert with Apple Configurator. Yet now you can do much of these workflows remotely using Automated Device Enrollment and your MDM solution. This is the preferred method in most deployment models as deployment teams do not need to unbox and plug all the institutions' iPads into a hub to manage them.
