You can record voiceover narration to accompany your slides, then export the whole presentation as a movie that you can share with others. Use recorded presentations as take-home material for students, for sharing information with parents, and more.
Open the Record Slideshow controls. Select the first slide in your presentation, then choose Play , Record Slideshow. The Rehearse Slideshow view opens, with recording controls at the bottom of the screen.
Record. Click Record , and after the 3-second countdown, begin speaking. Press Return or use the right arrow key to advance through your slides as you speak. Click Stop Recording when you’re done.
Play back your recording. Press Esc to close the Rehearse Slideshow view. Click Play in the toolbar and choose Play Recorded Slideshow.
Export your presentation. Choose File , Export To , Movie. Choose Slideshow Recording from the Playback menu and choose a Resolution. Then click Next and save the movie file.
Make a flashcard review video. Create a series of slide pairs with alternating terms and definitions, then export the presentation as a movie to share with students.
Create instructional support videos. Use shapes, images, text, and animations to reinforce lab safety procedures, outline steps for solving equations, or demonstrate how to complete everyday classroom tasks.
Make your video presentations even more cinematic by adding a musical soundtrack in addition to voiceover narration. Drag in any combination of tracks from your Music library to add a perfect background musical score to your slideshow video.
