Step 1
Open Camera.
Step 2
Tap Live Photos to turn it off.
Step 3
Place your subject in the middle of the screen, leaving space around it to rotate.
Tip
Take your photos with your iPad in landscape orientation.
Step 4
Capture the first shot by tapping the Shutter button.
Tip
Be careful not to bump or move your iPad or to cast a shadow on your subject.
Step 5
Rotate your subject slightly before taking your second shot.
Step 6
Continue until you have eight photos, rotating your subject a bit more before you take each one.
Tip
The best animated GIFs loop seamlessly, so the first frame should be in almost the same position as the last one.
Tip
Animated GIFs must be small files, so use only two to 12 images in a sequence.
