Edit Your Photo

Use the editing tools in Photos to apply a high‑contrast black‑and‑white effect to your image.

Step 1

Open Photos. Select the photo you like best.

Step 2

To make a copy of your image for reference, tap More .

Step 3

Tap Duplicate. Your copy will be saved in your photo library.

Step 4

Tap Edit.

Step 5

Scroll to Saturation in the editing effects.

Step 6

Drag the slider to –100 to remove all color from the image.

Step 7

Scroll to Contrast.

Step 8

Set Contrast to 100.

Step 9

Scroll to Exposure.

Step 10

Set Exposure between 75 and 100 to wash out details.
