Vocab Choice Board

I moved to a school that has an established vocab curriculum, and the students shared quickly that they felt like they didn't learn the meanings of the words from doing the book work that comes with it. So I designed this choice board to get them to find meaning for the words, and the response was AMAZING. Students love designing creating meaning now and are excited when they hear that it's time to work on vocab.

A great way for students to show their understanding.

Such an authentic and memorable way to work with key vocabulary! Thanks for sharing, Tanya! I've done something similar using Numbers; students choose the tabs with the tools/tasks that seem most useful to them in learning new words.
