The APAC ADE Institute had a lot of fun learning about SwiftUI with this new project. We enjoyed the challenge of figuring out how to create glasses like mine, and had a great chat about how this can be integrated into lots of different areas of the curriculum.

👓 I am quite proud of my glasses! I can't wait to see what educators created.

I have just completed this with my Year 9 Digital Technologies students (14 years old) as an introduction to SwiftUI on the iPad. My students worked on this project over a couple of lessons. They were actively engaged and motivated to complete their self-portraits, and I dare say they enjoyed the experience! The project presentation made it incredibly easy to teach the fundamentals and get the students up and away.

I missed out on this workshop at the ADE Institute in Dallas and was suffering from major FOMO! So, I completed it on my own time :) I feel more comfortable using stacks, shapes, and modifiers. I can't wait to try this with my Girls Who Code!
