Instagram Journal Template
The following resource is a journal entry template that was revamped into a fake Instagram page using a Canva template. The first page is an Instagram Profile page and the following three pages are Instagram Post pages. On the first page, students are introduced to the journal prompt and they have to write a short two sentence introduction. On the post pages, students go into more detail regarding different aspects of the journal prompt. The template is set so that none of the objects can be moved but the images and text can be edited. The placeholder text (where the students will eventually write their responses) is filled with directions for how to complete the Finsta journal.
This template is currently set up to follow a journal prompt regarding different sides involved in the American Civil War but the template can easily be edited to follow any journal prompt simply by changing the placeholder text that provides directions for students. A PDF document is included below as a preview of the journal. Click the link below to open the template in Canva and begin editing it to suit your needs for a new take on a journal prompt.
