This template was tweaked from Christine Medrano's original Multimodal Flashcards. I absolutely loved her design and the multimodal approach, so I had to try it with irregular words. Students see the word, hear the word, and practice saying it on the first slide. There's also an icon to try to anchor the word. On the next slide, students write and say the word. They also add a picture of the word from the word wall or other environmental print.
