August 2023 Release

The Apple Education Community continues to be improved. Our August release included many important back-end enhancements to support content indexing, reporting, new privacy requirements; it also included some useful enhancements for users. 

  • Content sorting and tagging has been enhanced; new tags for Freeform, Privacy, Digital Citizenship, and more of our Education programs were added.
  • Forum users are now able to edit their comments and replies indefinitely, instead of within a 15-minute window.
  • File sizes for downloads are also now shown across the Forum, helping users choose when and how to download files.

And with the releases iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma, Community members will now be able to sign in easily with Face ID or Touch ID using Passkey support.
