Students complete research on a state of their choice and use this Keynote to present their research. Students are encouraged to edit the Keynote, add animations, etc. Then, export it as a movie to share with their classmates.
I love all the small details you added in this Kristina! I hadn't thought of putting the shapes or places holders off the actual slide for students to drag and drop. Genius! This is such a helpful tool to guide research. I can't wait to share with my teachers! Thank you for sharing!

Keynote is such a good tool to use for learning about geography and States. Thanks for the idea!
I couldn’t get your example unzipped but I would love to see it. Can you add a screen shot?
One thing I would also consider when students do research on a State is that they also take a look at Apple Maps. They might include interesting screen recordings of the state as a they create a “flyover” or create an Apple Maps place card for their state. Brian Phillips posted an interesting Apple Maps/Keynote project here: https://education.apple.com/story/250011286
