Holiday Scavenger Hunt Keynote

This is an activity that was originally created for a staff scavenger hunt that showed the different capabilities of Keynote. It highlights that Keynote can be used for more than a presentation tool but a tool that can be customized for a myriad of purposes in education.

This activity is a holiday themed scavenger hunt where there are 10 tasks, that in this example, teachers were tasked to complete in their faculty teams. The challenges were created and then uploaded to ChatGPT to rewrite the challenges in more festive wording. The challenges were written on presents and then combining screenshots and using them as place holders, allowed them to insert their media into the project.

Extending this idea beyond a holiday activity, scavenger hunts could be used across many contents to engage students in domain specific thinking. For example, having students take images of different geometric shapes, nature walks in science or documenting a process, taking images of different locations for geography or history. . . there are endless ways this could be used in combination with other Apple apps or features to enhance instruction.
