APL Live Session Summary: Student Privacy and Safety with iPad

Student and Teacher safety is a central to ensuring an effective device strategy in any school. Apple iPad embrace this value with an array of built in systems that promote safe learning environments and efficient school-wide management.

This post recaps sessions run by Julia Parker (@julianz) from Auckland New Zealand and Matt Richards (@M-RichardsAPLS_Adelaide) from Adelaide, South Australia - as part of the APL live event (Aus/NZ). These sessions focused on student privacy and safety when using iPads in a learning environment. We explored various features to achieve this.

⚙️ Apple IDs: We explored two approaches to AppleIDs for a school environment


🔐 Privacy Settings: Participants explored family-controlled privacy settings for student Apple IDs.
