How to Create a Student Led Technology Team at an Elementary School Level

I was inspired to create a student led technology team (4th grade) at my elementary school after my completing my Apple Learning Coach certification last March. I currently have a team of 30 student coaches and serve two second grade classrooms on a weekly basis. The goal of this team is transform students from consumers to creators through student-led mentorship.

This team has filled a big need for student leadership on my campus. It has also increased teacher and student confidence when creating purposeful Keynote projects in alignment with the current curriculum.

Are you interested in starting a technology team at your elementary school? Download my coaching guide today! Anything else you would like to see included? Comment below!

Included resources:

-Student contract and guidelines

-Monthly timelines

-Templates (brainstorming, team purpose, pre-assessment, lesson plan, lesson reflection, etc.)

-Student badging system
