At the end of our unit on exponential functions, students create a Keynote around a topic of their choice that represents exponential growth. The idea is that they look up data that resembles exponential growth, then they use the data to create an exponential regression line to find the functions that most closely relates their data. Using that function, they write a word problem that students in the class then solve. It's a great way for students to have choice in their learning while applying the concepts they learned.
