Understanding the Ethical Implications of AI

OBJECTIVE

Students will engage in several critical thinking activities after reading one of three novels: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, 1984 by George Orwell, or H.G. Wells' The Time Machine. The goal is for students to identify the ethical dilemma within each story and make a comparison to to the current ethical dilemma's present with Artificial lntelligence, Artificial General Intelligence and the overall idea of sentient robots and how it will affect the future of humanity.
