I Wonder Photo Draw: Keynote Drawing

Look at a cloud. Do you see shapes in the sky? Most of us do. We see something in the vague shapes all around. This Keynote drawing project invites you and your students to capture, wonder, draw, and share animations!

Here is an example of the final project:

Did you see the zooplankton in the clouds? Maybe not, but you do now!

How to:

Step one: Capture some photos of areas around you that you can ‘see’ more inside of. Load the photo(s) to a Keynote deck.

Step two: For the photo that you would like to work with, duplicate in on the next slide.

Step three: Draw over this copy of your photo.

Step four: When done, tap on the drawing and select “animate”. Add your build in animation as a line drawing and your build out animation as fade (or another fun choice).

From here, you can export your work as a gif or movie. And, share!

Here are video directions of these steps:

I have also attached a Keynote file with some of my I Wonder line drawings.

Enjoy! And, please share…how can you engage students in a wondering photo adventure using Keynote?

Very fun and creative drawing challenge Leah - love the idea. What a great idea to enhance those cloud visions with drawings connected to a content lesson. And a good way to connect snapshot photography to imaginative art!
