First Day of School

A way to make students feel comfortable and build community on the first day of school is to use stations. I created 8 stations for my classroom that help kids get to know each other, laugh, and give input on what they want to learn in class.

Feel free to make a copy from THIS LINK and edit these to fit your classroom environment!

What an interactive and fun way to start school! I want to participate in Station 1 😊. As a former history and photo teacher, also loved #1 of Station 4.

You have me thinking about activities that would bond the facility as they return too! Thanks Jodie!

Thank you for sharing the idea. This looks easy to adapt for any class. I was trying to come up with a fun activity for my 6th graders, and I will be adapting this for them. And have some fun on the first day.
