Master AI with Strategic Questioning

Follow these 4 steps to strategically format your questions for AI to produce optimal results when posting in the forum. By using these steps you will be able to get results that have higher SEO confidence levels and will make your work more easily discoverable.

When I was writing my initial post during Content Creation Camp, I was brainstorming names for my Forum Post. When running my initial idea (and first 160 characters) through Google's API tool, my initial confidence score was .61 in the Education/Teaching category. After asking ChatGPT to generate possible titles for me, my confidence score increased to .91! The key to optimizing AI results is using the right prompts and questions.

Here is the "formula" I use every time I ask AI for something:

  1. Tell AI its role.
  2. Tell AI your role.
  3. Tell AI what you need it to do and give it relevant information.
  4. Tell AI to ask you questions before generating its response.

By following these steps you give AI time to "think" and understand what you're asking on a deeper level resulting in more accurate, relevant, and contextually appropriate responses.

Comparing prompt qualities:

A table that shows titles from a generic Chat GPT prompt and a specific Chat GPT prompt.

It asked me the following questions before generating the final responses:

  1. What grade levels is the data tracker designed for (e.g., elementary, middle, high school)?
  2. Are there specific features or benefits of the tracker you want to highlight (e.g., ease of use, compatibility with certain platforms, visual data displays)?
  3. Do you have a target audience in mind (e.g., specific subject teachers, special education, general educators)?
  4. Are there any keywords or phrases you’ve already considered or would like to include?
  5. Do you prefer a certain tone or style for the title (e.g., formal, catchy, straightforward)?

Answer as many questions as possible to give AI the most information and then it will generate a better response.

Things I would change or update to make my results even better:

  1. Tell ChatGPT that the response needs to be 60 characters or less so the title is not truncated and is optimized for the forum and sharing.
  2. Tell ChatGPT to include title options that contain a Call to Action.

I've created a Pages file to download that has a "poster" to use as a reference if needed.
