Supporting All Students with Vocabulary

As students are learning new academic vocabulary in classes, it is important to create opportunities for all students to be able to learn & understand the content. This can look differently for our ESOL or Special Education students. Using Keynote to create vocabulary sets with the supports of visuals, audio recording, writing the word in a sentence, and the definition is not only great for those student populations, but all students.

Within the Keynote, the slide layout is already created to add in the overall vocabulary template slide, or specific to one type (audio, visual, sentence, or definition). Just click the + Slide to insert your choice of vocabulary slide.

Yes! Visuals and audio are important tools for all learners. Thanks for showing how you use them with Keynote - very easy!
