Editable Digital Sound Wall Using Keynote

This is an editable digital sound wall for students using Keynote. You may add whatever phoneme or graphemes you like but here is a few to get started. Each phoneme has four slides. The students practice letter writing and record themselves making Kinesthetic Letter Motions as they make the word sound. On the second slide and third slides, students are able to take pictures of things in their learning environment, school, or at home that start with whatever letter they're working on. The last slide offers students an opportunity to find the letter sounds in a sentence and underline it using the Mark Up tools.

Students are also able to personalize their digital sound wall with their own Memoji.

Hi MrsL!

This is a great idea! I really like how students get to practice sounds by writing letters, taking photos, and recording themselves. Adding pictures from their school or home is a nice way to make learning more personal and engaging. Using the Memoji feature must be exciting for your students.

I’m curious—do the students have a favorite letter or sound they enjoy working with? Would be interested to hear how it’s going in your class!

Hi!!

Yes, my students have been adding to it and love doing different blends! What's nice is that they are creating their own additional pages based off the original templates.
