Engaging Students with Animated GIFs in Keynote!

I’ve been having my students create their own animated GIFs and then incorporating them into a Keynote presentation to reinforce skills—and it’s been a huge hit in my first-grade classroom! 🙌

You can use this idea for letter sounds, trick word practice, CVC words, math facts, subitizing, and so much more. The possibilities are endless! Not only does this get students moving, but it also makes skill practice more engaging and interactive.

I’m sharing some Keynote templates that you can use or customize, along with step-by-step instructions on how to create an animated GIF and how to insert it into Keynote with music. Hope this helps, and I’d love to hear how it works in your classroom! 😊

Keynote animated gif are so engaging. I use them with the “big kids” (adults) and wonderful to see your creative learning animations with 1st graders. The dancing is so fun! Thanks for sharing!
