Project Creation: Priority Hierarchy & Planning Board

Planning Board: When students are making a digital project, they might need a scaffold to help them plan out their project. Thinking through the beginning, what goes in the middle, how they will conclude their project. This resource helps break it into sections to help them plan it out.

Priority Hierarchy: Sometimes learners have difficulty navigating between what are the important pieces to include within their project (for example: the content meeting the standard) and they want to focus on the creative details solely. Use this Priority Hierarchy template to help them know what are the foundational pieces to their work and what steps to take after to add in those creative elements and what sharing out looks like. Having these clear expectations and knowing what they need to complete first to then move up the pyramid for their next steps.

This is really interesting, Amanda! Thanks for sharing it!

I really like how content creation has such prominence in the process (i.e. 5 spaces in the triangle) compared to project presentation/submission. But, also the inclusion of that vital step of ‘polish’ before final submission… So often, digital projects are never fully seen through or given the time deserved (either by students and teachers!). Great work!
