Digital Time Capsule Project

Digital Time Capsule Project

As the end of the school year approaches, it can be fun to ask students to capture the moment- especially when they are making big transitions like graduating from kindergarten or high school. I created a Keynote for students to use as a guide for a digital time capsule. Students can upload images and videos to personalize the Keynote.

This project can be done by students in K-12 with some modifications.

Project time is 2+ hours and can be shortened or expanded easily.

Math and research options: The slides in the template will require students to take a poll of the class to answer several questions in the time capsule. If time permits, you can use this opportunity to discuss how polls work and their importance in guiding decisions.

What a lovely way to reflect, curate and store memories of school, Annissa! 🤩

And, Keynote for the win, always! 🙌

It would be cool to come up with way they can send it to their future self… Maybe, a scheduled email? Or, scheduled post in their VLE? Could be a fun way to resurface it for them at a future date!
