Butterfly Journals

Our kindergarten class created a digital journal in keynote to document the life cycle of butterflies. Students observed our classroom caterpillars each day and recorded what they saw by drawing, labeling, and writing simple sentences. Using keynote, they added photos, shapes, and voice recordings to bring their observations to life. This project integrated science, literacy, and creativity, allowing students to reflect on real-world learning while developing digital skills. It was amazing to see their excitement grow as their butterflies did!
