Apple is embarking on a new partnership with Common Sense Media, the leading source of digital literacy and well-being guidance and curriculum for families and educators, to support the development of free resources to equip thousands of teachers and their millions of students with the skills to use AI safely and effectively.
The Teachers' Essential Guide to AI Fundamentals with Apple provides educators with activities and frameworks for navigating artificial intelligence in the classroom. Teachers will learn AI basics tailored specifically for educational contexts. The guide includes a values-based framework for evaluating which AI tools are appropriate and beneficial for classroom use. Educators will explore Apple's suite of AI tools and understand how they can enhance learning experiences. The resource also walks teachers through creating their own practical AI implementation guide. This collaboration provides teachers with the support they need to thoughtfully integrate AI technology into their teaching practice.
