Digital Safety with Parental Controls
Helping families understand built-in parental controls will ensure they feel confident and informed about what their child sees and does on their iPad.
With Parental Controls parents can:
- Decide who can talk to their child with Communication Limits
- Protect them from what they see and send with Communication Safety
- Select apps to allow at all times with Always Allow
- Keep app and website content age appropriate with Content Restrictions
Support and Focus with Screen Time
Screen Time makes it easy for parents to see what their child is doing and guide them towards healthy screen habits.
With Screen Time parents can:
- Keep track of how their child is using the device with Screen Time data
- Set time limits for categories of apps, or individual websites and apps with App Limits
- Use Downtime to schedule time away from screens
- Customise how the device is use
Managing a Child’s Device with Family Sharing
Helping parents understand how to manage a child’s device from their iPhone is a game changer! It gives parents greater visibility and control, helping them set healthy boundaries and support safe, responsible digital habits from anywhere.
With Family Sharing parents can:
- Approve what kids buy or download with Ask to Buy
- Share locations and find devices with the Find My app
- Set up a child’s device with your preferred Parental Controls
- Share Apple subscriptions and purchases
