We had participants create their own club on the moon! This is a multi week program or could be done in one long day which included creating a club name, app cover using keynote, and app design using pages, and a recruitment flyer using canva.
Students were encouraged to use a mix of tools such as shapes, inserting images, drawing, editing images, using literacy skills to build flyer and app design, creativity to advertise and create app design, and use many different colors, shapes, and images.
Both in keynote and pages blank designs were used to start and students could develop apps however they chose to do so.
