Subtopic: 5.2 Enzymes
5.2.8 Correlate the mechanism of enzyme action with the change in the following factor:
(i) temperature.
Designed and developed an interactive Keynote learning resource to teach the effect of temperature on enzyme activity through an engaging, student-centred approach. Using Keynote's Link to Slide feature, each section directs students to a dedicated slide where animations demonstrate enzyme-substrate interactions under the selected temperature condition.

To create an authentic simulation, the enzyme and substrate molecules were individually animated using a combination of Motion Paths, Move, Scale, and Build Effects. These animations illustrate how molecular movement and collision frequency change with temperature, allowing students to visualise enzyme-substrate complex formation at low and optimum temperatures, as well as enzyme denaturation at high temperatures. The interactive design transforms a static graph into an exploratory learning experience, helping students connect graphical data with molecular processes and strengthening their conceptual understanding through visualisation and active exploration.
