Celebrating Book Week Through Student Voice

This Book Week, move beyond a simple costume parade and give students the opportunity to tell their story.

Keynote Template

Using this free and simple Keynote template, students can:

  • Add a photo of their costume (or favourite book)
  • Voice record a short explanation of their choice
  • Share their favourite characters, themes or connections

Once complete, the deck can be exported as individual videos or combined into a class showcase.

It's a wonderful way to capture student thinking, support oral language development and create a lasting record of Book Week celebrations.

I'd love to see how others adapt this idea for their learners.
