Learning Objectives
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
- identify at least 4 out of 5 specific pieces of information from the text/video A City from the Past correctly;
- differentiate between was and were according to singular and plural subjects with at least 80% accuracy;
- use was, were, wasn’t and weren’t to complete at least 4 out of 5 sentences correctly about New York City in the past; and
- orally produce at least two simple sentences describing a city in the past with teacher or visual support.
