🍎 My Fruit Shop: Let’s Learn Addition! 🍊

Learning addition becomes more exciting when students can explore, create, and interact!

I designed this interactive Mathematics lesson using Apple Keynote on iPad to help Year 1 students develop their understanding of addition through a fun fruit shop experience.

🎯 Learning Objectives

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

• Understand addition as combining two groups of objects.
• Count and add numbers within 20 using visual representations.
• Write simple addition number sentences.
• Demonstrate their understanding through interactive activities.

Using Apple Keynote on iPad, students explore colourful fruit illustrations and engage in hands-on addition activities.

Students can:

1. Explore: Visit a virtual fruit shop and identify different fruits.
2. Count: Count the fruits displayed in each group.
3. Calculate: Combine two groups of fruits and find the total.
4. Understand: Write addition number sentences
