Bringing Illustrations to Life with Keynote

I created this visual resource to demonstrate how a simple image can be transformed into a digital illustration through tracing and drawing.

How I Created This Resource

1. Inserted a snail image as a visual reference.
2. Used drawing tools to trace the outline and details of the snail.
3. Refined the illustration by adding lines and textures.
4. Arranged the original image and completed drawing side by side to demonstrate the transformation.
5. Created a short video showing the drawing process.

Classroom Application

This activity encourages pupils to develop creativity, observation skills, hand-eye coordination and digital drawing techniques.

It also demonstrates how digital tools can support visual learning and creative expression.
